deceptive charges

i hadnt played in a while so when i went to open the app it prompted for update.
it would not update until i verified my payment information for Itunes.
while i thought this weird, having recently updated my IOS, i verified the information.
not once was there a single prompt for any charge.
the next day there was a charge for 12.98.
i dont pay to pay to play.
i certainly wont ever play this game again nor any game by its creators.
